The Apostle Islands Races will be held on an 8.7 mile looped course of town roads & a county highway. The marathon will be three laps of this course. The course offers a scenic mix of flats, curves and straight-aways. This a beautiful course offering extraordinary glimpses of the beautiful Lake Superior shoreline and the majority of the course takes place on new pavement. The course offers two hair pin turns, various curves and flats and skaters of all levels will be able to participate in this event. The Fitness Rec Marathon is open to skaters 10 and older.
